Artist Bio

Leayah Argueta is a psychedelic artist based in Casper, WY, with deep Californian roots. Her work captures snapshots of her mind, a world rich in color and surrealist ideas. Her work is inspired by artists like Salvador Dalí and art styles from around the world, taking in ideas from different cultures, mythologies, and lived experiences. Her work is filled with flowy linework and tactical design, creating a portfolio of pieces that flow into one another. Like her linework, her goal with her creations is to draw connections among people from all walks of life for the common purpose of enjoying art that is original, beautiful, and meaningful. 

Bloodstoned Art is a passion project that showcases who I am as an artist, ever-changing and intuitive. A play on words meaning art runs through my veins with a psychedelic art style that transports people into the metaphysical world. Together, the two words form the mineral called bloodstone, which is also my birthstone. Bloodstoned Art aims to inspire people to push boundaries by creating and consuming art that is unique to them.
